The student's book comprises 6 units in total. Units 1, 2, 4 and 6 present the form and the use of one of the past tenses (pret?rito perfecto compuesto, pret?rito perfecto simple, pret?rito imperfecto and other past tenses). Unit 3 contrasts both pret?ritos perfectos (i.e. the simple and the compuesto), whilst unit 5 contrasts perfecto simple and imperfecto.
At the back of the book, there is a list of the most common irregular verbs.
All of the units (apart from 3 and 5) are structured in the following way:
1. Observa.
2. Forma.
3. Usos.
4. Ejercicios.
5. La historia misteriosa.
6. Test de repaso.
Furthermore, in order to enable students to monitor their progress, each exercise allows them to check their correct answers in relation to the total number of items in that exercise.
